Please note that death is mentioned first because more tongues speak death over life. We live in a world where there is more evil spoken of than good, therefore negative talk has become a way of life for most people. In this scenario being a part of the minority is a good thing because we speak life and we have a very positive outlook on life in general. So the verse says 'they that love it will eat the fruit thereof,' therefore life has its own fruit and so does death. The question is: "What fruit are you eating?" Because you become what you eat, so lets strive to speak life and eat the fruit of life and love it! Be blessed... 

In this life we would like to believe that everything will always be perfect and free of challenges but in reality things will happen that will shake our faith. Sometimes when crisis comes we cannot even find the right words to pray, but the words of a friend can bring comfort and heal our wounds. Together we can pray and go to God's word for guidance and strength but that encouraging word can make a whole world of difference. Next time someone in your life is facing a crisis, speak an encouraging word in their lives to uplift their spirit. God could use you to bring forth a positive change. Be blessed!     
 

Lord, we cry out to You this morning and ask You to comfort Dinelle's  loved ones. No one is ever prepared for death, especially a young mom who only one week ago gave birth to a healthy baby. I could not help but reflect on the story of Rachel in the bible, mother of Joseph and after she gave birth to Benjamin she passed. While growing up there were many things that we could not understand about death, sickness, lack etc. and whenever we asked our mother for an explanation she always said when we get to heaven all our questions will be answered. And guess what? I take the same approach with my kids up to this day, because I still don't have all the answers. But one thing I know for sure is that we serve a God who cares about our pain and He is there to comfort us and has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us. RIP Dinelle and as your family reflect on precious memories of you may God unfold your purpose and why you were only given to them for a season. Please continue to pray for this family.

The burst of sunshine is a reminder that it's a new day and we are alive! God is amazing and we have so much to thank Him for - today! Let us start today with an attitude of Praise, however you start your day sets the tone for the rest of the day, so starting your day right is extremely important. When I read this verse I cannot help but think of this song of Praise; "I will enter His courts with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter His courts with praise, I will say this is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice cause He has made me glad." Yes He has! Folks, it's a Holiday Weekend, stay safe and remember how you start your day, your week, your month, your year sets the tone for what direction your life will take, start with a burst of sunshine in your heart and the Lord by your side! Believe it or not, but we are all in a race in this life, we are constantly on the go, I go so fast that I've been labeled to wear 'roller-skates' figuratively. Women, this hurried lifestyle has become a way of life for us and many times without even realizing it we go ahead of the Lord. Cant wait because He's not moving fast enough! One example of not waiting on the Lord was when I got married for the 2nd time; I got my 6 kids from my first marriage but it also came with severe pain, abuse and rejection, so the 2nd time I decided that I would do it right. Wrong! I was left drained, depressed, stressed, sick, acquired blood pressure and nearly lost my life. But though I didn't wait on the Lord He saw my heart and knew that I was ready to finally wait on Him. He renewed my strength and energy and I no longer run this race alone but He partners with me and He's always in the lead and though I follow---I soar with my Eagle wings and I no longer grow tired and weary!
